My name is Susie Blattner. I am a stay-at-home mom with 2 small kids. We live on a large piece of land with a small house and a dream of being “off the grid”. We enjoy eating what we grow, making our own cheese (a very new endevor) and bread (my husband makes the best bread!) and both being home to raise our kids.
We chose a few years ago to both try to stay/work from home. I began working Bodimage, my skin care company, to make it more year-round than seasonal. Christmas craft season is still our crazy time, but I am making and creating year round now. My husband works from the “shed” where we moved his computer, keyboards and lots of insulation. We still work out sometimes, me teaching and Jeremy working construction, but as much as we can, we make a go of staying home.
I began this blog in response to the questions I was getting at craft fairs and trade shows. I would like to pass on as many skin care tips as I can. In creating creams and lotions for skin conditions, I have aquired lots of tips that I would like to pass on. I hope that they help!
I am a teacher, chemist, but above all a mom. Our life is sometimes stressful, as is everyone’s, but I love what we have created and continue to create.
